Keep Track Of Facebook Friends’ Photos With Pixable Chrome Extension

Millions of people use Facebook to share images, links and videos. Images play a crucial role in running the world of social networking. Kuddos to the person who came up with the idea of sharing pictures with family and friends online. Today you see hundreds of photos on your Facebook news feed shared by friends and family. To see all the images you need a lot of time. Nevertheless, it’s easy to miss out on the ones that actually matter to you.

Pixable is an awesome service that lets you see all social media photos in one place. It sorts and prioritizes all the photos shared by you and your friends based on your relationships with the people sharing them. Pixable requires your permission to use your Facebook account  so that it can provide you a way to get access to all the photos on your social network at one place so you never miss an important moment.
Up until now, Pixable was available as a web application, and also on iPhone app store. The company has recently released their Chrome extension. Once you’ve installed Pixable Chrome extension, it adds a new icon to the toolbar of the browser. When you click on that icon, a pop-up appears where you can see all your friend’s photos organized into feeds like Top Photos of the Day, Most Recent Photos, New Profile Pics, and more.
The interface of the Pixable Chrome extension echoes iPhone version of the Pixable. It ranks and sorts your friends’ photos based on popularity and your connections, giving you a more personal viewing experience. You can also comment, like and share any photo on Facebook and Twitter directly from Pixable. As I stated above, you’ll have to connect your Facebook account to use the service. Also, you can keep track of your selected friends by following them, and receive notifications when they upload or are tagged in photos.
Whenever you comment or like a photo on Pixable the same automatically happens on Facebook. As of now, Pixable only supports Facebook but the company is going to launch the service for Twitter Timeline where it would aggregate Instagram, Flickr, yFrog, Twitpic photos and YouTube and Vimeo videos within a user’s Twitter feeds.
It’s a cool app if you don’t want to miss any moment shared on the social network. You must give it a try. Go ahead and check out Pixable web app. Those of you who own an iOS device, you can install Pixable app from the itunes store. I recommend all Chrome users to install this app on their browsers. Install the Pixable Chrome extension from here.
